    Trattoria degli Ulivi is a walking distance from the Villa (see the map). Trattoria is open only during lunch hours, i.e. 12-2 pm. The place is full of local people, which guarantees truly scrumptious Italian cuisine. You can have a solid lunch in a family atmosphere.

    The next restaurant, at the walking distance from Villa Costa, about 400 meters is Da Arturo. Friendly place, mid prices, large selection of the local wines as well as variete’ of meat and fish dishes. They do great pizzas and keep very local Tuscan menu. Open only for dinners, after 19.30.

    The owner Signora Emma serves fabulous Tuscan food at bargain prices. There is a huge variety of dishes to satisfy every palate. We highly recommend this place!







    Le Colonne in Matraia (see the map) is a large restaurant with a very good service, good inexpensive food and a huge choice of pasta and meats. We recommend beef tagliata with rucola and cheese. Another safe bet is excellent pizza on thin delicate crust. The view of the hills from the terrace is spectacular.
